ABOUT 500-MILLION-STORIES
EVERY YOUTH, A STORY
.
POA’s Strategic Plan, 1/1/50-25, is inspired by the purpose of generating social and economic prosperity for the People of Africa. The underlying mission is to orchestrate the development of at least 1 million young people through the various POA platforms; as well as reducing POA’s environmental footprint by 50% by the end of financial year 2025. One of the channels that has been identified to finance this ambitious strategy is a 500km fundraising walk dubbed the ‘500-Million-Stories’ (5MS) Campaign.
'500 Million Stories' latches on the fact that each of the approximately 500 Million young people in Africa has a story. And by providing each one of them the necessary infrastructure and a healthy dose of inspiration, they can shape their stories by fully activating their talents. All proceeds from the POA YOUTH 7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT will go to the 5MS Campaign.
