SUPPORTING AFRICA'S YOUNG FASHION DESIGNERS 

The POA Fashion label is a platform that brings together talented African designers and provides a strong global commercial network for Clothing, Accessories and Home Décor Items.

The objective of the Label is to enhance the social and economic status of millions of talented youth by creating global market linkages for high quality fashion items from Africa.

In order to shrink the learning curve, and fast track their chosen profession, Young Designers from Africa are encouraged to register and join the POA Fashion Label.

The  POA Fashion Label activities include:

  • Commercialization through marketing, selling and distribution of merchandise.
  • Quality assurance of POA Fashion Label merchandise.

AFRICA'S PROSPERITY
POA Fashion Label will support an average of 1000 young African designers on an annual basis.  Through the 500-Million-Stories Campaign, fundraising is currently on going to launch the POA Fashion Label (PFL) state-of-the-art Campus, as well as to invest in the various identified designers during the label launch. 
HOW TO JOIN 
DESIGNER REGISTRATION
Designers from all over Africa are encouraged to register their interest to join POA Fashion Label. Once registration is accepted and confirmed, a minimal fee will be required to ensure commitment to what is set to be a rigorous immersion process from ideation to commercialisation.
500-MILLION-STORIES
EVERY YOUTH, A STORY
POA’s Strategic Plan, 1/1/50-25, is inspired by the purpose of generating social and economic prosperity for the People of Africa. The underlying mission is to orchestrate the development of at least 1 million young people through the various POA platforms; as well as reducing POA’s environmental footprint by 50%. One of the channels that has been identified to finance this ambitious strategy is a 500km fundraising walk dubbed the ‘500-Million-Stories’ (5MS) Campaign. 

'500 Million Stories' latches on the fact that each of the approximately 500 Million young people in Africa has a story. And by providing each one of them the necessary infrastructure (such as POA Fashion Label) and a healthy dose of inspiration, they can shape their stories by fully activating their talents. 
 
500-Million-Stories beats the drums for the daring dreams of every youth to come alive. It is a frenzied war cry for every individual, regardless of station in life, to show up for Africa's Youth. Because if we collectively meaningfully nurture, support and celebrate our youth, Africa's Prosperity will be restored.
