Jason has inspired many young athletes in Africa and across the globe. His story will be amongst other exceptional African biographies that will continue to inspire the youth, as they dare to dream and strive for the echelons of mindful greatness. Because those many years ago, when Jason carried high and waved his country’s flag at the Olympics, the symbolic gesture went beyond just leading the team at the glitzy parade.

500-MILLION-STORIES
EVERY YOUTH, A STORY
POA’s Strategic Plan, 1/1/50-25, is inspired by the purpose of generating social and economic prosperity for the People of Africa. The underlying mission is to orchestrate the development of at least 1 million young people through the various POA platforms within a period of 3 years.  One of the channels that has been identified to finance this ambitious strategy is a 500km fundraising walk dubbed the ‘500-Million-Stories’ (5MS) Campaign.

'500 Million Stories' latches on the fact that each of the approximately 500 Million young people in Africa has a story. And by providing each one of them the necessary infrastructure (such as POA Fashion Label) and a healthy dose of inspiration, they can shape their stories by fully activating their talents. 
 
500-Million-Stories beats the drums for the daring dreams of every youth to come alive. It is a frenzied war cry for every individual, regardless of station in life, to show up for Africa's Youth. Because if we collectively meaningfully nurture, support and celebrate our youth, Africa's Prosperity will be restored.
