POA YOUTH CONFERENCE is scheduled to be held in Nigeria on 14th November 2024. The title of the conference is AFRICA'S PROSPERITY; with the underlying theme of 500-Million-Stories.
The intention of this conference is to inspire and encourage cross border social and economic linkages amongst the youth that will be foundational in advancing Africa’s prosperity.
The attendance will comprise of youth, representatives of youth-related organisations, corporate as well as non government organizations primarily from Africa.

POA’s Strategic Plan, 1/1/50-25, is inspired by the purpose of generating social and economic prosperity for the People of Africa. The underlying mission is to orchestrate the development of at least 1 million young people through the various POA platforms within a period of 3 years. One of the channels that has been identified to finance this ambitious strategy is a 500km fundraising walk dubbed the ‘500-Million-Stories’ (5MS) Campaign.
'500 Million Stories' latches on the fact that each of the approximately 500 Million young people in Africa has a story. And by providing each one of them the necessary infrastructure (such as POA Fashion Label) and a healthy dose of inspiration, they can shape their stories by fully activating their talents. |
